WHAT’S INVOLVED
My basic consultation service is a one to two-hour walk through of your yard and garden to target areas of concern. I can advise on plant identification, teach best plant care practices including watering, pruning, and fertilizing, and assist you with maintaining plant health including pests and diseases. Of course, helping with design improvements or garden refurbishment- whether a simple makeover or a brand-new design is my pleasure. I love helping my clients realize their vision for their yard and coaching them how to obtain the yard and garden that best suits their schedule, budget, and style preferences. At the conclusion of my initial visit, you’ll receive a Garden Report Card that includes an analysis of your yard, my observations, plant and product recommendations, and an assessment score on the key aspects of a healthy, well-designed outdoor environment.
After my initial visit, I offer an array of services. Here are just a few:
AR (augmented reality) photos of your yard showing how your new plants might look. Plant list included. I also can, for a nominal cost, print and mail your AR photos to you.
Customized written report with a detailed analysis of your yard, links to plants we discussed during my visit, links to helpful garden resources, and a copy of Freda’s Garden Clippings.
Hand-drawn landscape designs to scale. Plant list included.
Installation coordination.
Hands-on demonstrations, small-group instruction.
